Email Security

Managed filtering, anti-phishing and continuity that stops threats before they reach the inbox and keeps mail flowing if anything breaks.

Email Security

Most attacks start with an email. We put proper protection in front of your inbox and add continuity so your mail keeps flowing even during an outage. Modern managed email security, replacing the patchwork many businesses still rely on.

Modern filtering inspects every message for phishing, impersonation and malicious links and attachments before they reach the inbox. Continuity keeps mail flowing so your team can still send and receive even if your mail platform has an outage.

Common questions

How is this different from the spam filtering already built into Microsoft 365?
The built-in filtering catches obvious junk and known bad senders, but it is weaker against targeted phishing, impersonation and brand-new malicious links. Managed email security adds a layer that rewrites and checks links at the moment they are clicked, sandboxes attachments and spots impersonation of your directors or suppliers. It also gives us reporting and control that the standard tools do not.
Can you stop emails that pretend to come from our own directors or suppliers?
Yes, and this is one of the most common frauds we see. We configure SPF, DKIM and DMARC so others cannot spoof your domain, and the filtering layer flags display-name impersonation, such as an email claiming to be your finance director asking for a payment. We can also warn staff visually when a message comes from outside the organisation.
What does email continuity actually do during an outage?
If Microsoft 365 or your mail platform goes down, continuity gives your team a temporary inbox through a web page or app so they can keep sending and receiving without waiting for the platform to recover. Messages sent during the outage queue up and sync back into your normal mailboxes once service returns, so nothing is lost. It means a provider outage does not stop you trading.
