Common questions

What does a Wi-Fi survey involve and why do I need one?
We walk the premises with survey kit to measure signal strength, interference and how the building materials affect coverage, then map where access points should go. Guessing placement is how blackspots and dead corners happen, especially in older buildings with thick walls. The survey means we install the right number of access points in the right places the first time.
Can you connect more than one office or site together?
Yes. We link sites with a site-to-site VPN or dedicated connectivity so staff in different locations share files, phones and systems as though they were in one building. Remote and home workers get their own secure VPN access into the same network. We size the connections to your traffic so video calls and file transfers do not slow each other down.
Do you supply the firewall and switches, or work with what we already have?
Either. If your kit is business grade and still supported, we will configure and monitor it rather than replace it for the sake of it. Where equipment is consumer grade, out of support or no longer up to the job, we will tell you plainly and quote for a sensible replacement. Everything we install is monitored so a failing link is flagged before it slows anyone down.
