Penetration Testing

Independent testing of your network, systems and websites. A clear report of what an attacker could reach, and how to close it.

Penetration Testing

We test your defences the way an attacker would, then give you a clear, ranked report and a practical plan to close the gaps. Assured testing available through our CREST-registered partners.

We test from the outside as an attacker would, and from the inside to see what a compromised account could reach, including your web applications. You get a clear, risk ranked report in plain English, a practical plan to fix what matters, and a retest once the work is done.

Common questions

What is the difference between a penetration test and a vulnerability scan?
A vulnerability scan is an automated tool that lists known weaknesses, useful but noisy and full of things that may not actually be exploitable. A penetration test has a skilled tester actively trying to chain those weaknesses together to reach something valuable, the way a real attacker would. The result is a ranked list of what genuinely matters, not a thousand-line report you have to wade through.
Will testing disrupt our systems or staff?
We agree the scope, timing and any sensitive systems with you before we start, and most testing runs quietly in the background without anyone noticing. Tests that carry any risk of disruption, such as denial-of-service style checks, are only run with your written agreement and usually out of hours. You get a named contact throughout in case anything needs pausing.
Is a retest after we fix things included?
Yes. Once you have worked through the fixes, we retest the issues we found to confirm they are genuinely closed rather than taking your word for it. You then get an updated report showing the original findings and their resolved status, which is the document clients and insurers usually want to see. Assured testing is available through our CREST-registered partners where a contract requires it.
